Saddle & Roam grew from a passion for horses, craftsmanship, and the objects in life that become part of your story. You know the pieces—the ones you grab without thinking, that feel like old friends. Your favorite sweater, that book you've read three times, the bag that's been everywhere with you.
Inspired by classic equestrian style, and traditional tack—saddles that mold to riders, bridles that soften with use—Saddle & Roam goods are made to be lived with. They're crafted to take on the marks of daily use, and become unmistakably yours.
materials and making
the best materials
The brand is rooted in the belief that materials matter — that leather should age well, and the brass should patina, not peel.
The leather is responsibly sourced as a by-product from the meat industry. Each hide is tanned using natural plant-based tannins extracted from tree bark and other vegetation, making it more environmentally friendly.
Each piece is designed and made in small batches in Ottawa, Ontario, by Ainsley Wing.
